David Curtis is an Award-Winning Illustrator and Book Designer currently living in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up on the Jersey Shore, he was drawn to Surfing and Skateboard art at an early age, and carries that esthetic into his work with the use of bright colors and psychedelic abstract forms.
Concurrently, he is working HarperCollins Children’s Books, where he designs and art directs book covers for Young Adult and Middle Grade readers.
David’s clients and collaborators include Paramount Pictures, NASA, Wizards of the Coast, Legendary Comics, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Tor Books, Picador, Flatiron Books, Amazon, Macmillan, Discover Magazine, PC World, Science News, among others.
He has also exhibited art in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto as well as appearing on the Spine Magazine Podcast and The Imaginaries Podcast.
